报告人：James D. Burgess, Case Western Reserve University

Dr. Burgess received his B.A. in Chemistry from Longwood Universityin 1992. His Ph.D. is from Virginia Commonwealth University (19997)where he worked in the group of Prof. Fred Hawkridge on protein andenzyme electrochemistry. Burgess did a postdoctoral with Prof. MarcPorter at Iowa State University and the US Department of Energy-Aims Laboratory studying surface science. He was an AssistantProfessor of Natural Sciences at Longwood University from 1998-2000before he relocated to Case Western Reserve University. He waspromoted and tenured at Case Western Reserve University in 2006.His current NIH-funded research focuses on biosensing atmicroelectrodes.
