Hospital Overview
The Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University was founded in 1951. It is also known as the Second Red Cross Hospital of Jiangsu Province and the Second Clinical Medical College of Nanjing Medical University. Under the administration of the Health Commission of Jiangsu Province, the hospital is a top-ranked comprehensive hospital, which undertakes major tasks of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and public welfare.

The hospital has four campuses (Jiangjiayuan Campus, Sajiawan Campus, Maigaoqiao Campus, and Yuejianglou Campus), covering an area of 121 mu, with a floor area of 260,000 square meters. The hospital has more than 3,000 employees, 53 clinical and technical departments, 5 national training bases, 2 Provincial Key Medical Disciplines (Urology and Nephrology), 3 co-sponsored Provincial Key Medical Disciplines (Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Cardiovascular Surgery) and 19 provincial key clinical departments. The headquarters of Jiangsu Provincial Human Organ Procurement and Management Center is located in our hospital.
